Summer Is The Perfect Time to GET INVOLVED!

The summer season at TLC is filled with graduations, Ride for Tammy Lynn Center, summer camps and programs, trips to the beach and aquariums for residents and so much more. Students from the local universities sign-up for volunteer programs in hopes of gaining experience, and groups from different businesses and organizations participate in corporate days of service. But most of all, summer time is the perfect time for you to get involved.

Getting involved is easy to do and it can happen in so many ways. Spend time with residents on a weekend, make bird feeders with summer campers, take a tour of the Center with your co-workers during a lunch break, or organize an ice-cream social for your youth group - these are just some of the ways to get involved.

Ride for Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities - Saturday, June 26, 2010

In just a few days, the Center will host the 2nd annual Ride for Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities. It is not too late to ride, participants can register online until June 25 at Noon or you may register the day of the event.

Registration starts at 7:00 a.m.
Ride starts at 8:00 a.m. from NC State Centennial Campus
Ride ends at Tammy Lynn Center

Registration fee: $30 in advance/$35 the day of

2010 Tammy Lynn Golf Classic - A Challenge at the Creek

On Monday, October 4, the 7th annual Tammy Lynn Golf Classic - A Challenge at the Creek will take place at Brier Creek Country Club. Join us as 144 golfers compete for the coveted TLC Glass Bowl Trophy! Sponsorships are available on a first come - first served basis, so be sure to reserve yours today.
