Fire Station 20 visits the Center

Captain Carroll and Lieutenants Parker and Orlando visited the Tammy Lynn Preschoolers on Tuesday, October 14th as part of our Community Helpers Week. In addition to learning about fire safety - Stop! Drop! Roll! - the children got to see inside the fire engine and learn all about being a fireman.

The fifth annual Tammy Lynn Golf Classic on Monday, October 27, with a shotgun start at 11:00 at the Brier Creek Country Club.  Proceeds will benefit the Tammy Lynn Memorial Foundation, Inc., which in turn supports the following programs of the Tammy Lynn Center: 
Respite Care, Early Intervention, and non-Medicaid Day Services.  The tournament has been an annual success, raising nearly $50,000 last year.

Registration begins at 10:00 a.m.  The entry fee is $150 per player and includes greens fee, cart, range balls, lunch and beverages.  Each hole has a challenge, so every player has an opportunity to take home some great prizes - golf for four at many of the area's golf courses, a Calloway golf bag travel case, a Taylormade driver, to name a few.
