Chili's "peppers" in some fun and hospitality for the Tammy Lynn Center
On the 14th, Chili's graciously donated 10% from every bill between 4 pm to 8 pm to the Tammy Lynn Center. There was a tremendous turnout of employees, board members, volunteers, families, and the general public. The Tammy Lynn Center is very grateful to have been chosen as Chili's charity choice for January. Manager of the Chili's Cary location, Chris Suttle, said, "The Center means so much me and my family. Chili's is proud to support an organization that is so vital to the community."
In Memory of Tabitha Flores
Last year Becky Flores' daughter, Tabitha, tragically passed away in a car accident. While waiting on insurance money to arrive, Hardin Construction stepped in to assist Becky in her time of need and paid for all of her funeral costs. When she received the insurance money, Becky insisted on paying back Hardin Construction. Instead, they asked her to select the charity for the money to be donated. In memory of her daughter, Becky wished for the money to benefit the Tammy Lynn Center. During the presentation of the check, Becky spoke these kind words, "I know that my Tabitha would be so proud to have this donation made in her name." A special thanks to Becky and Hardin Construction for their generosity and kindness.
