My Little
Buddy Quinn

Friends and Family,

He has a smile that is contagious and warms the heart.  Quinn was about 2 weeks old before I met him and the day I got to hold him, we instantly connected and became buddies.  I was looking at this treasure; this gift of life who had already survived a serious surgery and was I in awe of the strength he had been given.  Little did I know that day what I would learn from this little guy and how he would change my life in such positive way.

Quinn has several birth defects and has successfully come through numerous surgeries.  Throughout the years, we have met so many wonderful people and I have learned that Quinn does not know a stranger.  Quinn lives such an active life and we have had so much fun together.  I have spent time with him every week since that first day I met him.   I have found spending time with my little buddy to be therapeutic.  When I have had a bad day or feeling down, I would just hang out with him and all the worries of the moment were gone.

I believe things happen for a reason and it is not by coincidence Quinn has made many friends at the Tammy Lynn Center (TLC).  Quinn started receiving services from TLC over  2 years ago.   I have become friendly with the staff and the care Quinn has received provides my family peace knowing he is his receiving great care of by people who give from their hearts.  I have found the services provided at TLC to be outstanding and professional.   The excitement I see on my little buddy’s face each week tells me he is comfortable and happy at TLC.

Quinn’s use of TLC services made me want to give something back.  For many years my family supported TLC by attending the A Toast to the Triangle and my heart was telling me I should do more.   In June 2009, my husband and I hosted the 1st annual Ride for the Tammy Lynn Center, which was a great success.  We’re already looking forward to next year!  But there’s the time in between to plan for…

Please join me in supporting Quinn and all his friends who receive services from TLC.  Quinn and I have a goal of $2000.  I am asking everyone I know to help us reach this target.  Please consider a gift of $25 or more.  Any amount that is given will make a difference in the lives of those who are touched by the care of TLC.

Keep checking in to see the progress, the encouraging difference you are providing for Quinn.   And check out the website to see all TLC provides and consider volunteering.

Thanks for your time and support…
