Tammy Lynn Center for Developmental Disabilities thanks you for your interest in volunteering with us.  We are dedicated to providing quality services to children and adults with special needs.  As a Tammy Lynn volunteer, you, too, will become an integral part of our mission to love, protect, nurture, inspire, and care for remarkable children and adults.

However, before you get started you must be aware of both your personal obligations and limitations.  To determine if volunteerism at Tammy Lynn Center is right for you, take some time to assess these types of questions:

• Do I have the time to donate?
• Can I work with people with special needs?
• Am I able to volunteer on a consistent basis? 
• Do I truly want to help others?

To be an effective volunteer, you must evaluate your situation carefully and decide if volunteering is the path for you to take.  After all, it is very important to believe in the value of volunteerism.  We sure do!
